“I made the reservation here as a bridge stop on my way into the Catskill Mountain for a few days and I'm so glad I did. It's remote -- the town of Claryville is like much of the Catskill mountains -- I was in Phonecia for several days last summer -- in that towns seem to lack a town center or even a substantive grocery store or restaurants. “The inn is very pretty. Make sure to have all the instructions available before you arrive. We arrived late at night, nobody was at the front desk and cell phone reception was terrible so it took me a bit of time to find the room number and code to get in. Be ready to take stairs to get to your room. The room was beautiful and so clean. We never got to see any staff on site, but our short stay was very pleasant.”

“This property is beautiful. I especially enjoyed the grounds of the place. A hidden trove with beautiful cabins lush greenery all-around. The river is hidden behind the cabins so you can fly fish. We did the train car rails, through the forest, and it was so much fun.”

“It was not clear to me when booking that the majority of rooms are 21+. If you have a child with you, you are limited to either one of the outer buildings or need to upgrade to a full cabin. We had booked a king suite with a Japanese soaking tube and then were offered to switch to a forest haus queen because of my 2.5 year old and first told it was a comparable room (not even close) and then later given $71 resort credit, which really did not make up for it but I had limited other options at the...

“The staff were wonderful, the Inn is cozy and well maintained. It’s very pet friendly and the meals were excellent. One thing we missed is having coffee/tea available if you’re up before breakfast.”

“So, we booked this about an hour ahead of being there. When we showed up, the office was closed. There was a sign on the door addressed to another guest and a phone number on the closed sign. Called the number and the owner of the property answered and apologized that he did not see the reservation come in and was away from the property. He asked us to wait 30 minutes so he could return to check us in. It got mostly better from there. Check in was pleasant and the owner was very apologetic...
